Avery is a 2024 graduate of North Royalton High School. Since graduation, she has thoughtfully pursued her interests in providing care and instruction while working as a childcare and personal pet care provider. Through both one-on-one and group settings, she has developed the ability to deliver a high level of service while remaining attentive to the needs of those she works with.
Her interest in vision therapy began when she was a patient participating in the vision program with The Vision Development Team. School had been challenging, but she experienced improvement in her academic performance as her focus and visual skills developed. This personal experience allows Avery to relate to patients and understand the struggles they may face, as well as the balance required between therapy, schoolwork, and everyday life. With patience and supportive instruction, she is committed to helping patients see that there are ways to work through their challenges.
Avery finds great reward in building relationships through shared time, hard work, and common interests. Growing up, she participated in sports such as soccer, softball, and track and field. Over time, she has expanded her interests to include skiing, video games like Just Dance and Mario Kart, pickleball, yoga, and zip lining. She is always looking for new hobbies and activities, which help her connect with patients, understand their needs, and personalize their experience so they feel cared for and confident as they work toward their goals together.
