Anne Antonino
Anne has been a member of The Vision Development team since 2023, serving as a healthcare virtual assistant, residing in the Philippines. In her role, she adeptly manages administrative tasks, handles calls and emails, oversees voicemails, checks faxes, and schedules appointments.
Beyond her virtual responsibilities, Anne is a registered nurse in the Philippines, has a background as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing. Her passion lies in researching and delving into early childhood development, along with exploring Montessori play and activities for young kids. This newfound passion stems from her role as a dedicated mother and her firsthand experience with the marvels of tiny miracles.
Both Dr. Andrich and Patti had the opportunity to meet Anne and her husband, in person when they traveled to Manila, as guest lectures for the 2024 PCO conference in Manila, Philippines. For Anne, joining the Vision Development team is more than just a job; it’s an everyday learning experience. Interacting with patients and collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals who share the same goals adds a rewarding dimension to her professional journey.

Olivia Safranek
Olivia is a pre-optometry student studying biochemistry at Bowling Green State University. She is enthusiastic about optometry, and her passion for the profession only grows with each day spent at The Vision Development Team. She has been a part of the administrative team since 2022. Her main responsibilities include scheduling and communications with new patients. She also demonstrates strong interpersonal and multitasking skills in her administrative tasks. In her time at the practice, Olivia has played an important role in the care of patients and has gained valuable insight into her future career.
In college, Olivia dedicates her time to the Pre-Optometry Club and American Medical Women’s Association to prepare for her life in health care. She also spends time performing service projects for a local shelter called The Cocoon.
Outside of her studies, Olivia enjoys playing volleyball, as she has been playing competitively for ten years. She has a passion for fitness, and spends her free time in cycling or pilates classes. In addition, she often finds herself outdoors, whether it be walking her mini goldendoodle or enjoying the lake and roller coasters at Cedar Point.
Joyce Kloss
Joyce is an indispensable member of our team, bringing warmth, professionalism, and efficiency to her role as our receptionist. With a natural ability to make every visitor feel welcomed and valued, she ensures a lasting positive first impression for all who step through our doors.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Joyce graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Travel and Tourism Management. She moved to the United States in 2019 to explore opportunities in the travel and tourism industry. Since then, she has called California, Colorado, and Oregon home before settling in Ohio.
Joyce’s talent for organization and communication keeps the front office running seamlessly. She excels in managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and supporting both clients and staff. Her approachable demeanor and friendly attitude create an inviting environment for everyone she interacts with.
Beyond her professional role, Joyce enjoys playing board games, discovering new places and experiences, and experimenting in the kitchen. She is also looking forward to hitting the slopes again in a few years with her husband and their delightful little one.
Joyce’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service perfectly complements our dedication to excellence in vision care. Whether assisting with inquiries or optimizing office operations, she takes pride in making every interaction pleasant and productive.

Shannon Abasolo
Shannon joined the Vision Development Team in late September 2025 as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant. Based in the Philippines, she plays an important role in supporting daily operations by managing administrative responsibilities such as handling calls and emails, checking voicemails and faxes, scheduling appointments, and maintaining essential tracking sheets to ensure smooth and organized workflows. Her reliability, attention to detail, and ability to multitask help keep operations running efficiently.
She is a Registered Medical Technologist with three years of experience working in a private hospital laboratory. Throughout her clinical experience, she developed strong skills in performing diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate test results, and maintaining quality control standards. She is also certified in newborn screening, reflecting her commitment to precision and patient care. Her clinical background strengthens her ability to provide knowledgeable, accurate, and professional virtual support.
Outside of her professional role, Shannon is creative and passionate about singing. She is known for her warm, friendly personality and her ability to connect easily with others, making her a supportive and positive presence within the team. She also has a strong passion for travel and hopes to explore new places around the world. Being part of the Vision Development Team allows her to continuously learn, enhance her skills, and grow both professionally and personally.
Maki Pupovac
Maki started her journey in the healthcare industry with the Vision Development Team in 2026. Alternating between our North Royalton and Beachwood locations, her role is focused on patient scheduling, taking care of calls and emails, following up with new and existing patients, as well as other small administrative tasks. Still a patient in the Vision Development Team practice, she now has the benefits from seeing things on both sides of the practice, patient and employee.
Outside of the Vision Development Team, Maki received her Bachelors in Science with a major in Healthcare Management from Cleveland State University in 2025, while interning and doing remote work for American Income Life, a prominent life insurance company throughout the United States, and a proud sponsor of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Along with this, Maki has over 6 years of retail and management experience within a family business based right in Cleveland, Ohio where she completed POS transactions, completed online orders, paid vendors and invoice notes, checked in deliveries, answered phone calls, helped manage their online website and social media, diligently managed other employees and tasks during her shifts, etc.
For Maki, becoming part of the Vision Development Team has been an incredible opportunity to kick off her career in the healthcare industry. With constant room to grow, learn, and give back to Ohio’s communities, every day is different, yet impactful in terms of gaining professional experience and creating valuable relationships with patients, providers, and other people and organizations in the industry to produce a better pathway into practice management for her future.
Christiana Jackson
Christina has been a valued member of The Vision Development Team since October 2025, where she serves as one of the receptionists. She truly appreciates the family atmosphere among her coworkers and takes great pride in the meaningful work performed by the doctors and therapists. One of her favorite parts of the job is hearing from patients about their progress and success stories, which continually reinforces her passion for the practice’s mission.
Outside of work, Christina is a devoted wife and mother of two adult daughters. She is also lovingly known as “Mama T” to her grandcat, Ember. In addition to her role at VDT, she is a Licensed Esthetician and operates her own part-time practice.
In her spare time, Christina enjoys reading, watching movies, shopping, and dining out with family and friends.
